Ideas for organizing?

Good day everyone. I have been busy working on my computer/craft room and run into some snags. I am hoping someone out there has ideas for me. I have looked online for hours with no luck for me. I am looking for ways to organize things like stickers, scrapbooking paper, stampers, yarn ect... if anyone out there has any ideas or any websites that they know about can you let me know! I would appreciate it.

I worked day and night yesterday on my room, but man it still looks cluttered. I have things like 2 dressers full of odds and ends, 4 totes with stickers and supplies, plastic drawers for little pieces of stuff and a few pocket hanging compartment things 1 for beside my desk to put things in I could just easily grab that I always use and 1 with all my little jewelry parts. Also I have a pampered chef turnabout (the ones for kitchen utensils) I have pens, pencils, rulers and scissors in it on my desk, close at hand! Things that have yet to get put away? My gift bag stash for birthdays(I buy the bags ahead so the only thing I have to think about when the date gets here is the gift, oh the cards I buy ahead too and keep in a card keeper that has a spot for the date of the event and what it is and a slot to put the cards for that month in), I also have left acrilic paints, no idea what to store them in! I need clean sweep the show to come in here to help me organize! I love the challenge part, but I have been cleaning in here for weeks now!

Well thanks for all your input and I'll keep me fingers crossed that someone out there has some ideas for me!

Pinecone centerpiece

Every time I have a new person added to my christmas list I make them one of these. They are beautiful in the light or in the dark with the christmas lights on.

Materials;

Pinecones-the more variaties the better, make sure to have a lot of the long skinny ones.
Piece of cardboard (at least 8"x 8") I make mine 8" x 16".
Glue gun
Glue sticks
Spray paint
battery operated lights (can use with plug as long as there's a plug near by)
2 taper candles-optional
Ribbon-optional
2-4 decorations of some sort-optional

Cut the cardboard to the size you want. I start with the outside, I use the long skinny pinecones and hot glue them all around the perimiter of the cardboard hanging over quite a bit. Then fill in the bottom where it's empty with more of the long ones just laying down, all the while holding one of the taper candles on one side and the other on the other side in the middle. Hot glue pinecones around these to hold them up as well as hot glue the candle in place after spray painted. Top with all different pinecones hot glued everywhere until it achieves the look you want. Next take out the lights out of the sockets of the string of lights, we will be spray painting it, no need to hot glue the lights in place since it's when they are intertwined they stay put. Next bring the project outside to spray paint. I love silver and use blue ribbon, lights and candles, but whatever color you like is perfect. Let dry. Next put the lights back into the sockets and hot glue the candle if necessary to stay put. Next put the ribbon all around the pinecones, I like tucking mine in as deeply as I can get them. I also tie a bow at the front of the 2 candles or at the back. Next I put decorations on, I found some birds at the dollarama and put 4 little ones just sitting ontop of different pinecones, 2 looking front and 2 looking the opposite direction so you can see it from any direction where you sit at the table. Voila, a beautiful centerpiece. I have given away 10 of these as gifts, even at gift exchanges at work. Each year when names are picked others hope that I get their name so I can make them one as well. They are awesome! Happy crafting!

Forever in family Pancake Recipe!

Pancakes

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1-2 tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 1/2-1 3/4 cups of milk-depends on thickness-should be lumpy
2 tbsp. oil

Mix all ingredients in 1 bowl and mix after adding each ingredient.
Cook in a little oil or spray with pam-cooking on medium. When you see air bubbles ontop it's time to flip them. I also add 1 smashed banana to the mixture after egg. Also add 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
I use this recipe for pancakes to coat weigners to make pogos and also use it to make chicken balls! Enjoy! I made some for the kids for breakfast tomorrow, and I made them tonight since they are the best toasted in the toaster the next day!!

HELLO EVERYONE!

Hi everyone from my facebook-bookmark my site here so you can try some of the recipes I post, some craft ideas I have or just to read what I type! Have fun-and leave a comment every once in awhile.

I like a place to call "my own" on the web, no personal names or pictures are ever used on here, so you can be whoever you like! Just leave your first name for a comment, or just tell me on facebook that you left a comment so I know whom it is from!

Today is my cleaning and organizing day so I don't have much posted today, oh and I just started this blog 4 days ago, so it's all just the beginning for me! I promise to make it more interesting as time goes by!

Well have a great weekend everyone!

Wendy's Chili Recipe

Wendy's Chili Recipe
2 pounds ground beef
4 cups tomato juice
29 oz tomato puree
15 oz red beans, drained
1-1/2 cups chopped onion
1/2 cup diced celery
1/4 cup diced green pepper
Chili powder to taste
1 teaspoon cumin or more to taste
1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ea: pepper, oregano, sugarDash cayenne pepper (opt)
Brown ground beef in a large skillet and drain.
Put beef and everything else into a big pot.
Cover and bring to a boil. Lower to a simmer and cook 1-2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
Could this chili recipe be any easier? Let it simmer on the stove, but keep an eye on it so it doesn't dry out too much. Cook up a batch of chili for your next foot ball game, a casual dinner with friends or when ever you get a taste for the spicy, hearty goodness of Chili.

bingo dabber plastic canvas pattern-free!

For this pattern I used 7 count clear plastic canvas. You can change the color of the lid, the bingo word as well as the bottle color. I had fun doing all different colors. I made some into pins and others I put on the end of a stick for people to wave in the air at the bingo when they win BIG! Have fun and happy stitching!
