Funnel cakes
Preparation - 15 minutes, Cooking time - 15 minutes
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tbsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp butter, melted
1 cup milk 4 eggs, beaten
vegetable oil
powdered sugar
Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into a large bowl. Stir in the sugar and make a well in the center. Stir in the butter, milk, eggs, and 1/2 cup water to make a smooth, thick batter. Heat the oil in the pan and drop in small spoonfuls of the mixture; cook for 5 minutes until brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels, then dust liberally with sugar and serve. Great with whipped cream, chocolate sauce and your favorite fruit ontop! Very addictive!
